In this 14th edition, our Adherence pages focus on the constitutionalization of abortion in France. Presented in the media in general as a breakthrough and the pinnacle of the fight for women's rights to decide about their bodies, we were surprised to see how much this event generated negative reactions on social media, showing a marked contrast between what traditional media say and what people say.

Our Paradox of the week highlights the issue of homelessness in a country where so many housing units or simply structures that could accommodate homeless or poorly housed people remain unoccupied. In the age of technology, algorithms, and AI, it’s contradictory that housing solutions, at least temporary ones, have not been implemented.

As usual, the internal and external reputations of countries show a slight optimism, given the possibility of renewal represented by the more than 70 national elections that will take place this year. Our Electoral Performance Index pages show us how Félix Tshisekedi did better than in 2018 in the last elections of 2023 in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
